Easy Veggie Meal Plans

from CB Athletic Consulting Inc.

Product description

Kardena Pauza, a former Ms. Fitness America and author of Easy Veggie Meal Plans, doesn’t pull any punchesMeat Free Zone when she talks about eating meat.

Kardena, who went “cold turkey” six years ago and abruptly switched from what she calls the Standard American Diet (SAD) to a raw vegan diet, exclaims on her online sales page:

“Food (read meat) is frightening!”

She then gives her reasons for making that statement:

** Every summer we hear of horror stories about children suffering from E. coli found in hamburgers.

** Last year tainted deli meats killed 20 people in Canada after a deadly bacteria outbreak at a meat processing plant.

** Every year more than 655,000 people around the world die from colon cancer – the most devastating cancer proven to be associated with eating meat.

** And hundreds of thousands of meat-related food poisonings happen at restaurants, cook-outs, and even in our own kitchen, all because of the health risks that go along with eating meat.

Kardena says she had developed severe health problems from eating the SAD, and that her switch to a vegan diet cleared up those problems and enabled her to lose weight.

Product Research

So … do you really want to become a vegetarian?

That’s the obvious question you face as you ponder whether to buy Easy Veggie Meal Plans.

Unfortunately, there is no black and white answer. The best answer is one of those “it-all-depends” situationsEasy Veggie Meal Plans. More on that in a minute.

What makes your choice so difficult is that there seems to be compelling evidence on both sides of the vegetarianism debate, which has been raging for decades.

Here, for example, is what the American Dietetic Association has to say:

"Vegetarian (diet) plans tend to result in lower rates of heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and some forms of cancer. Vegetarians also tend to have lower body mass indexes and cholesterol levels."

And from GoVeg.com:

** Vegetarians are 50 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and they have a 40 percent lower cancer rate of meat-eaters.

** Meat-eaters are nine times more likely to be obese than vegans (who eat no animal products) are.

** Vegetarians have stronger immune systems than meat-eaters.

** Vegetarians and vegans live, on average, six to 10 years longer than meat-eaters.

The environment also comes into play in this debate. GoVeg.com says eating one pound of meat emits the same amount of greenhouse gasses as driving an SUV 40 miles. And the United Nations a few years ago called the meat industry "one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global."

On the other hand …

The Weston A. Price Foundation, for one, believes that “strict vegetarianism (veganism) is detrimental to human health.”

The foundation says some people have difficulty assimilating vitamins, minerals and protein from plant foods and that these individuals may need a higher proportion of nutrients from animal foods to achieve optimum health.

As for the saturated fats in animal protein, the foundation says human beings have been consuming saturated fats from animal products, milk products and the tropical oils for thousands of years. Moreover, it is the advent of modern processed vegetable oil that is associated with the epidemic of modern degenerative disease, not the consumption of saturated fats, the foundation asserts.

Others say that humans are meat-eaters and always have been, just as they also are vegetable eaters and always have been, but that plant foods must be supplemented by animal protein to maintain optimal health.

Back to our original question: Do you really want to become a vegetarian?

Only you can answer. And in the final analysis that answer depends largely on:

** Your upbringing. (Forget for a moment the “scientific” debate over vegetarianism – it is essentially a stalemate that is not particularly helpful to you.) To one extent or another, you are a captive not only of your generation, but also of your heritage and your family. You have, in fact, been taught what to eat; it has been ingrained in you. And only you know how easily you can “unlearn” what you have been taught.

** Your health. How well have you been served by what you have eaten? If you can say “not well,” a change just might be in order.

** Your physique. Has your self-image been damaged by the shape of your body? If you can say “yes,” again, a change just might be in order.

Finally, the ultimate truth is this: There is no right diet for everyone. What you need to do is find a diet that feels right for you.

If that turns out to be a vegetarian diet, or some form of a vegetarian diet, fine. But the only way to find that out is to give it a try.

Easy Veggie Diet Meals gives you a 60-day money-back guarantee. That should be enough time to determine how this diet is going to work for you.

All the best!
